CAPITAL is a simple yet effective project which, in the capable hands of the manager, will become a tool for achieving short- and long-term goals. This is a single portal: Manufacturer-Distributor-Pharmacy.
Project goal:
The project was presented by Denis Remenyako, General Director of FC Grand Capital. The project, which has a working title of "Saving Private Ryan", (the name was changed to "Capital" at launch), does not aim to unite against anyone, according to D.V. Remenyako: "It is based on a developed IT solution designed to establish direct contact not just with chains or companies but with each specific pharmacy, a specific TIN. At least 26,000 out-of-contract retail pharmacies could be the beneficiaries of this solution. However, chains that are already members of a marketing association will also be able to join the project. And there will be no conflict of interest."
In developing the project, the main sensitivities - the 'pains' - of all involved parties: manufacturer, distributor and pharmacy were taken into account.
The manufacturer has to bend to the terms dictated by the big retail players: pharmacy chains, associations and marketing alliances, and there are also certain difficulties for the manufacturer when dealing with individual pharmacies and small pharmacy chains, which leaves this part of the market uncovered.
The distributor is interested in expanding its customer network, both in the development of individual pharmacies and the development of regional pharmacy chains.
Unorganised retailers, without sufficient turnover, cannot rely on the terms of participation in manufacturer promotions as for the big players, resulting in a slump in product range, relatively high prices or lower revenues, leading to a weakened market position in the region and a possible exit from the market.
The platform enables all participants, regardless of volume or scale, to receive promotional terms on a par with the big players, and to earn money by offering their customers goods at competitive prices.
